Our Philosophy

We want all kids to enjoy reading, so we create fun, imaginative and stimulating interactive stories that all kids will love. We believe that, in order for our readers to get the most out of our apps, there should be no distractions and so there are no adverts, in-app purchases or any direct marketing to kids in our apps.

We work hard to make sure that every app is of the highest quality. We pride ourselves on embracing new technology and so we will always strive to create and develop for the latest devices, and for the ones that are just round the corner.

Who are we?

My name is Colin Treanor and I own and run bammbosh. I have worked in the children’s publishing industry for more than 17 years and have created publications for many different companies such as Disney, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon & Mattel, to name just a few. For the last several years I specialised in digital publishing and specifically kids’ apps. Working with digital and working with kids inspired me to create BammBosh, and my own universe with characters for kids to enjoy.

Also on the team is my wife, Gabrielle. She helps me with all aspects of bammbosh. Gabrielle has many years experience working in children’s publishing and if you want to know what she sounds like, just listen to one of our stories!

The most important member of the team is Georgie. She is the inspiration behind the star of our stories. Georgie is very friendly, she sleeps most of the time, she is, of course, my pet dog. Want to know more about Georgie? Click here.
